Private universities file replies for judgment against US price-fixing claims

( August 12, 2025, 15:28 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The University of Notre Dame, University of Pennsylvania, Georgetown, Cornell, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology filed replies in support of their motions for judgment in a US price-fixing case, saying plaintiffs’ theory is built on a series of inventions. “Plaintiffs invent a separate agreement on financial aid packaging despite the undisputed evidence unequivocally showing that the 568 Group never made one, because (as they concede) the invented overarching agreement makes no sense without it.
