Judge grants Innovative's request for injunction in US antitrust case

Biosense, owned by Johnson & Johnson, manufactures and sells the CARTO 3 cardiac mapping system and electrophysiology (EP) products, including catheters, that can be used with that system. Innovative, which reprocesses and sells EP catheters that can be used with cardiac mapping systems, alleged that Biosense's case coverage policy prohibits its clinical account specialists (CAS) from supporting CARTO 3 mapping procedures using another manufacturer’s catheters.
