Defunct ticketing startup files US antitrust claims against Live Nation

( December 30, 2025, 23:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Ticketing startup Fanimal filed a US complaint against Live Nation and Ticketmaster for allegedly using illegal means to keep Fanimal out of the market. According to the complaint, the companies’ exclusionary long-term agreements with venues prevented Fanimal from fairly competing for large concert venues and the most lucrative events, and their anticompetitive conduct (including tying, leveraging, threats to venues and refusals to deal) foreclosed Fanimal from fairly competing in the market for primary and secondary ticketing services. As a result, Fanimal was forced to shut down operations and sell its assets in late 2024 for a “modest amount.”See attached file....
