Las Vegas Review-Journal submits renewed motion for summary judgment in antitrust case
( March 9, 2026, 23:02 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Las Vegas Review-Journal asked a Nevada federal judge to grant its renewed motion for summary judgment against the Las Vegas Sun's antitrust claims. In its motion, the Review-Journal said that without an enforceable joint operating arrangement, "there is no basis for finding that Defendants engaged in predatory conduct — a necessary element of every one of the Sun’s remaining claims." The Review-Journal added that allowing the matter "to proceed would not only contradict binding precedent but would also result in the unlawful enforcement of an agreement federal law expressly prohibits."See attached motion....
