Indirect patent breach won’t force contested products off the market, UPC rules

MAS secured an injunction across 10 countries, though judges held that indirectly infringing products can’t be forced off the market.The Unified Patent Court has ruled that products that only indirectly infringe cannot be subjected to recall, removal or destruction orders, a panel of judges in the Düsseldorf Local Division said, in a ruling that largely favored an Austrian plastics machinery maker....
