BT, Three under investigation for network outages by UK telecom regulator

( December 15, 2025, 17:28 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: BT and Three are under investigation by UK regulator Ofcom, after summer outages caused nationwide disruption to mobile call services, including access to emergency services for customers using BT's EE network and Three UK. The mobile companies reported separate incidents in June and July that left customers unable to make or receive calls, Ofcom said on Monday. Operators must take proportionate steps to prevent and mitigate compromises to network availability, the regulator added.
