Formosa Plastics must face US price-fixing claims over caustic soda, plaintiffs say

Plaintiffs said that while Formosa claims it increased the supply of caustic soda in the US “by running its chlor-alkali plant at full capacity while simultaneously importing increasing amounts of caustic soda into the US,” it ignores the 20%-25% of its production that it exported, making its overall effect on the supply of caustic soda during the conspiracy period “ambiguous at best.”See attached file. ...
