Philippines maps nationwide AI infrastructure push as power constraints loom

AI clusters are targeted to run on 40 percent renewable energy by 2033, with natural gas supporting near-term power needs and nuclear energy considered as a longer-term option.The Philippine government on Tuesday unveiled plans to spread AI infrastructure across the country rather than concentrate new facilities around the capital of Metro Manila, an approach officials say should improve resilience while opening the door to investment outside the capital....
