South Korea creates support center to spur public-sector AI adoption

( August 12, 2025, 07:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: South Korea’s National Information Society Agency, or NIA, has announced the establishment of a center dedicated to supporting the adoption of artificial intelligence in public institutions, in line with the government’s recent policy direction. The agency said the center was created in response to the rapidly growing demand for AI adoption across public institutions and the evolving national AI agenda. According to the NIA, the center will serve as a hub supporting the entire lifecycle of AI adoption by providing policy and technical guidance, identifying and sharing best practices and enhancing AI capabilities.
