South Korea wins Nvidia pledges to support broad AI projects

( October 31, 2025, 06:01 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: South Korea announced Friday that Nvidia has agreed with the government and top companies such as Samsung Electronics, Hyundai Motor, SK Telecom, and Naver to provide strong support for the country’s endeavor to grow its artificial intelligence capabilities. The Ministry of Science and ICT said Nvidia has signed several memoranda of understanding to support research and development in such fields as physical AI, robotics, future mobility, hybrid AI–quantum computing, and AI-applied next-generation mobile communications technology. In most cases, Nvidia’s role will be supplying high-performance hardware and software to power such R&D activities, as well as joining hands in training local professionals, according to the ministry.The statement, in Korean, is attached....
