Litigation - 3G phase-out - vehicle telematics - VW - BMW - Ford (US)

Multiple carmakers were hit with proposed class-action lawsuits as they transition from 3G wireless technologies to 4G and 5G used in their in-vehicle telematics systems, resulting in loss of certain connected-car services supported only by 3G.
