M&A - Apollo - Tech Data

New York-based Apollo Global Management, a global alternative investment manager, has agreed to acquire Clearwater, Florida-based Tech Data, a technology component distributor, for an enterprise value of $5.4 billion. Tech Data will become a privately held company managed by the same CEO and will continue to be based in Clearwater.
