Google’s US adtech case sees EU regulator muddy waters on document disclosure

The European Commission has declined to object to disclosure. That might make it easier for the EU and US to coordinate their parallel cases targeting Google's adtech business, but it may also provoke uncertainty and discourage companies from cooperating with the EU watchdog.When Google pitched an antitrust settlement to the European Commission last year, the EU regulator ran an unusually tightly controlled market test, with only a small circle of market players able to review a text that they were even blocked from downloading....
