Spain’s data protection authority ready to enforce AI Act’s bans

( July 15, 2025, 10:09 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Spanish Data Protection Agency, or AEPD, said that while national legislation still needs to formalize its enforcement powers under the AI Act, it can already enforce the law’s prohibited use cases to the extent that they process personal data.
