But it didn’t keep her nomination as the Fed’s top regulator from advancing to the Senate floor today. “The Honorable Michelle Bowman, nominated as vice chairman for supervision at the Federal Reserve, will bring accountability and transparency to the Fed,” said Senator Tim Scott, the Senate Banking Committee chair. The top Democrat on the committee, Elizabeth Warren, was not nearly as enthusiastic.
