Second call for critical minerals projects opened by EU Commission

( September 25, 2025, 12:33 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The European Commission on Thursday opened a second call for strategic projects under the Critical Raw Materials Act. The call aims to attract projects across the entire critical minerals value chain, from extraction to processing and recycling. Selected projects will benefit “from faster permitting, as well as facilitated access to finance and offtakes,” the commission said. The first call, concluded earlier this year, identified 60 projects: 47 in the EU and 13 in non-EU countries.Statement follows....
