Compensation to Post Danmark for 'legacy costs' approved in EU

( December 15, 2025, 11:20 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Denmark has won EU approval for up to €77 million in compensation to Post Danmark for additional costs linked to making 429 former civil servants, currently still employed under special terms, redundant. These terms give the right to three years of redundancy payment to civil servants impacted by the Universal Service Obligation which has been discontinued as of 2024.
