Apple says EU's DMA has degraded user experience in the bloc

( September 25, 2025, 03:01 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Apple has published a wide-ranging critique of the EU's law regulating digital gatekeepers, saying the rulebook is unclear and applied unevenly, and it has led to EU citizens using Apple's innovations later than in other regions and being exposed to greater risks. Apple said its teams had yet to find a way to roll out certain features for the iPhone in the EU without the risk of users' data being shared with third parties because of the law, with the consequence that Apple has withheld those developments from the bloc.
