Plan to lighten UK companies' reporting burdens could tighten over cyber risks

As well as proposals for simpler reporting rules for SMEs, exempting more businesses from audits, and moving to a digital-first approach for communications to shareholders, the consultation does also ask whether existing reporting requirements are good enough for investors over cyber-risk reporting, or whether very large companies should have a tougher requirement to report specifically on their cyber-risk management.
