A New Jersey federal judge on Tuesday tossed a lawsuit alleging that multiple individuals responsible for granting a permit for the development of a Wal-Mart Stores Inc. superstore in a protected wetland failed to comply with environmental statutes and regulations, saying the claims fall under state law.
