The owner of Miami Beach's bankrupt Sagamore Hotel on Tuesday asked the Eleventh Circuit for a full-panel rehearing or clarification after a ruling ordering it to pay more than $5 million in default-rate interest on a $31.5 million mortgage loan it missed a payment on in 2009, saying there was evidence the court overlooked.

The Eleventh Circuit on Monday ruled that the owner of Miami Beach's bankrupt Sagamore Hotel would have to pay more than $5 million in default-rate interest on a $31.5 million mortgage loan it missed a payment on in 2009, but allowed the hotel to keep its reorganization plan.
