Nationwide Unit Says Samsung Batteries Caused $1.2M Fire
A Nationwide unit said in a suit removed to federal court that a Samsung battery manufacturer owes it more than $1.2 million for payments made to a policyholder for fire damage, saying defective lithium-ion batteries caused the fire and extensive damage to the insured's home.
