Two conservation groups are asking an Oregon federal judge to scrap what they say is a faulty environmental review the U.S. Bureau of Land Management did for a multidecade plan to clearcut 13,225 acres of forest west of the city of Eugene, claiming it clearly failed to analyze resource impacts.

An Oregon federal court should not throw out a challenge by two environmental groups accusing the U.S. Bureau of Land Management of failing to properly examine the environmental impacts of a 13,225-acre logging plan, according to a magistrate judge's recommendation.
