The case for in-person appearances

Virtual discovery and mediation allow us to be more efficient with our time and our clients’ money. Having living and practised in all judicial regions of the GTA and southwestern Ontario, and in various other provinces, I have no desire to go back to the days when I would spend two to three hours in traffic driving to and from, or wasting two days of time to attend a two-hour discovery when I had to fly somewhere....
