A California federal judge on Thursday approved a $28 million settlement between Schneider National Carriers Inc. and truck drivers in a certified wage-and-hour class action alleging Schneider didn’t offer proper meal and rest breaks, saying it’s a fair deal that provides class members with a substantial recovery.
