A New York federal judge on Thursday declined to toss the collective actions from a case in which a former TD Bank NA employee is seeking to represent a putative class of women who were allegedly denied adequate workplace spaces for breastfeeding, in violation of the Affordable Care Act.

A New York federal judge on Tuesday allowed to proceed a proposed class action accusing TD Bank of failing to provide space for female employees to lactate, ruling that a former employee who claims she was sent to pump milk in either a bathroom or an unlocked mailroom plausibly alleged damages.
