    'Ill-Informed' Illinois Teacher Can't Recover Union Dues

    A teachers union did not violate a teacher's First Amendment rights by collecting dues despite her desire to leave the union, an Illinois federal judge ruled, saying she was bound by a union membership agreement even if she was "ill-informed" about her decision.
