						Barclays has told the Second Circuit that a lower court correctly tossed a whistleblower suit from a former executive because his claims were only based on a "reasonable belief" without any "evidentiary support" and he didn't engage in any protected activity, among other reasons.

						A former Barclays executive told the Second Circuit Friday that he should be able to revive his whistleblower suit against the company because he had a reasonable belief that being made to work during a leave period intended to weed out fraud was a violation of securities regulations.
