A former agent of a nationwide land management consulting company agreed Monday to end his proposed collective action in North Carolina federal court claiming that the company compensated employees a daily flat day rate that did not include overtime.
Nationwide land management consulting company Contract Land Staff LLC got hit with a proposed class action by one of its former agents, claiming the company regularly requires employees to work overtime but does not properly compensate them, choosing instead to give a flat "day rate" regardless of hours worked.
