A Pennsylvania federal judge on Thursday dismissed most of a former Allstate Corp. agent's suit alleging the insurer terminated his agency contract in order to absorb his business portfolio, leaving only allegations regarding Allstate's efforts to enter him into the agreement.

A veteran Allstate Insurance Co. agent filed suit Tuesday seeking more than $15 million on claims that the insurer terminated his agency contract in order to absorb his business portfolio and turn it over to younger employees.
