9th Circ. Nixes State Farm Credit Report Suit Under Spokeo
The Ninth Circuit on Friday agreed with a lower court that a job applicant who was denied employment at State Farm can't sue the insurer for violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, finding that he lacks standing under the high court's Spokeo ruling because he can't show he was concretely harmed by the alleged violations.

Job Applicant Asks 9th Circ. To Revive State Farm Suit
A State Farm job applicant on Wednesday asked the Ninth Circuit to reverse a quick win given to the insurance company in his suit alleging that it improperly considers job applicants' credit reports and fails to notify them of their rights, saying the district court erred in finding that he didn't have standing.
