The Sixth Circuit refused to reopen a suit from former Ruby Tuesday managers and executives alleging Regions Bank inadequately protected their retirement plan benefits that were liquidated in bankruptcy, concluding a lower court was right to end the case in the bank's favor.

The Fourth Circuit on Monday partially revived a federal benefits lawsuit alleging a man died while waiting for his employee health plan to cover heart transplant surgery, ruling a lower court had to reconsider unjust enrichment allegations stemming from the company and plan administrators denying claims until after his death.
