    Doctors Took $40M In Kickback Scheme, Feds Tell Jury

    A Dallas hospital's $40 million in payouts to doctors and staff may have looked legitimate, but they were really "bribes and kickbacks" that inflated patient health care costs and reduced benefits, a government attorney told a Texas federal jury in opening arguments Thursday.
