Southwest Loses Bid For $10M In Computer Outage Coverage
Southwest Airlines Co. can't recover $10 million from a Liberty Mutual unit in a dispute stemming from a 2016 computer outage, a Texas federal judge ruled, finding that the airline's losses didn't exceed the dollar threshold required to trigger coverage since many of its costs weren't directly caused by the outage.
