KKR Boosts Stake In Aricent In $225M Deal

Law360, New York (September 18, 2009, 12:59 PM EDT) -- Flextronics International Ltd. confirmed Friday that it had sold its stake in privately held communications technology company Aricent Inc. to private equity firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. and Canada's CPP Investment Board, in a $225 million deal.

The deal further increases KKR's stake in Aricent. Combined with an initial investment in 2006, KKR entities now own 79 percent of Aricent. The private equity firm said in a statement Friday that the transaction closed on Sept. 16, 2009.
