Agents Appeal Airline Price-Fixing Suit To High Court

Law360, New York (March 26, 2010, 1:33 PM EDT) -- Travel agents accusing major carriers such as Continental Airlines Inc., United Airlines and American Airlines Inc. of fixing prices for commissions have appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court following a federal appeals court’s refusal to overturn the dismissal of their case.

An attorney representing the travel agents submitted a petition for writ of certiorari to the U.S. Supreme Court, according to a notice filed on Wednesday in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
