Greens Sue DOE To Stop Radioactive Waste Transport

Law360, New York (August 18, 2010, 6:19 PM EDT) -- An advocacy group has asked a federal court to stop the U.S. Department of Energy from transporting 3 million cubic feet of radioactive waste from nuclear facilities throughout the U.S. to the Hanford Nuclear Reservation in Washington state, saying the agency failed to account for environmental hazards.
