ITC Says Nixing Ball Bearing Duties Would Cause Harm

Law360, New York (August 25, 2010, 6:44 PM EDT) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission has ruled that revoking anti-dumping duties on imported ball bearings from France, Germany, Italy and Japan would likely have a “significant adverse impact” on the vulnerable U.S. industry.

In a ruling Wednesday, the ITC reiterated its long-standing opinion that pulling back the duties on imports from the four countries “will result in the likely recurrence or continuation of material injury” to the domestic ball bearings industry.
