FDA Recalls Grape Tomato Salad Over Salmonella Risk

Law360, New York (May 3, 2011, 9:02 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced a recall Monday of California-based Taylor Farms Pacific Inc. salads made with grape tomatoes from Florida grower Six L's Packing Co. that may be contaminated with salmonella.

Immokalee, Fla.-based Six L's notified Taylor Farms of the potential problem with grape tomatoes, used in prepared salads made for Albertsons, Raley's, Safeway, Savemart, Sam's Club and Walmart stores in 13 Western states, according to the FDA.
