Travelers Units Should Help Cover $6M Condo Deal: Suit

Law360, New York (August 8, 2011, 12:54 PM EDT) -- Houston General Insurance Co. filed a suit in Connecticut on Friday seeking to hold two units of The Travelers Cos. Inc. liable for a portion of a $6 million settlement over weather and structural damage to property owned by a condominium association.

Houston General and defendants Farmington Casualty Co. and St. Paul Fire & Marine Insurance Co. issued separate but similar property insurance policies covering Lakewest Condominium Association and its condominium complex between 1989 and 2006, according to the complaint.
