Legal Job Market Remains Mostly Stagnant In Feb.

Law360, New York (March 9, 2012, 6:33 PM EST) -- The legal services profession added 800 jobs in February, or less than 1 percent, showing little growth and reflecting what experts have predicted would be a stagnant year for the industry, according to a U.S. Department of Labor report released Friday.

The legal industry ended 2011 with a small dip in new jobs. The total number in February is 1,119,600, up 0.07 percent from the previous month, according to the monthly report.
