Matsushita, Samsung Searched By Japanese FTC

Law360, New York (November 9, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Matsushita Electric Industrial Co. and Samsung SDI Co. said on Friday that they are cooperating with Japanese antitrust authorities, which reportedly searched the companies' cathode ray tube production facilities.

A spokesperson for Matsushita confirmed published reports of the search, while Samsung could not immediately be reached for comment.

“Matsushita Electric is cooperating with the investigation,” the company's spokesperson said.
