Court Upholds Eaton Patent in Dispute With Parker Hannifin

Law360 (November 21, 2003, 12:00 AM EST) -- The U.S. District Court in Wilmington, Delaware granted a permanent injunction against Parker Hannifin Corporation regarding a patent held by diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corp. for a Snap-to-Connect technology used in high-pressure hydraulic applications, Eaton said.

However, the court denied Eaton's request for $3 million to pay attorneys' fees on the basis that Parker acted in good faith, and did not copy Eaton's product, Parker said in a statement.
