AIG Unit Can't Dodge Defense Duty In Coal Worker Injury Suits

Law360, New York (May 3, 2013, 1:18 PM EDT) -- An American International Group Inc. affiliate failed in its bid Thursday to avoid defending underlying coal mine worker injury lawsuits filed against an Arch Coal Inc. unit, as a Missouri federal judge ruled that coverage for bodily injury under the policy applies in this case.
