NY Bar's New Chief Puts Law Student Aid At Top Of Agenda

Schraver, the newly minted president of the New York State Bar Association, began his tenure Monday by calling for the legal community to guide law school students into the profession by working to shield them from crushing debt.

Schraver officially became the 116th president of the 76,000-member New York State Bar Association — its 11th president from Rochester — on Saturday and visited the state capital of Albany on Monday on the first business day of his tenure....
