Novartis Sues Accord Over Kidney Transplant Drug Patents

Law360, Los Angeles (July 3, 2013, 1:24 PM EDT) -- Novartis AG hit Accord Healthcare Inc. USA with a patent infringement lawsuit Wednesday in District of Columbia federal court, alleging that Accord’s attempt to create a generic form of Myfortic, a medication that prevents the human body from rejecting an organ transplant, infringes its patents.
