Paper Says Feds, States Must Act To Reduce GHG

Law360, New York (February 22, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Both federal and state governments must play a role if the United States is to successfully reduce its carbon footprint, according to a white paper released Monday by the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Energy and Commerce.

Up until now, the federal government has taken no comprehensive action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
