Hogan Lovells To Merge With South African Law Firm

Law360, New York (November 19, 2013, 5:03 PM EST) -- Hogan Lovells will merge with South African law firm Routledge Modise, hoping to better serve international customers with businesses in Africa, the firms announced Tuesday.

Routledge will rebrand as an arm of Hogan in early 2014, adding a team of 120 lawyers, including 40 partners, to Hogan's international team. The Johannesburg office will provide services for general corporate purposes, commercial deals, litigation, mining regulations and employment law for foreign subsidiaries, as well as South African companies and government departments.
