Investors Sue Over 90% Of M&As In 4-Year Trend, Report Says

Law360, New York (March 13, 2014, 3:32 PM EDT) -- The percentage of shareholder lawsuits lobbed in response to U.S. merger-and-acquisition deals valued over $100 million continued to rise last year, with 94 percent of such deals being challenged in 2013, according to a Cornerstone Research report released Thursday.

The report, titled Shareholder Litigation Involving Mergers and Acquisitions, looks at litigation challenging M&A deals with a value exceeding $100 million.
