Siemens Chips In €190M For UK Wind Turbine Parts Factory

Law360, New York (March 25, 2014, 4:06 PM EDT) -- Siemens AG will invest €190 million ($261 million) to build a €371 million wind turbine parts factory on the U.K.'s east coast, the company said Tuesday.

Associated British Ports will kick in the rest of the money for the Green Port Hull factory and logistics and service center. Siemens said that British energy policy favors offshore wind farm expansion, which will ensure that the factory will have work to do.
